PRESS RELEASE: COMMENDATION FOR THE APPROVAL AND AWARD OF OSARA DAM BY KOGI STATE GOVERNMENT.

The Honourable commissioner for water resources, Abdulmumuni Danga, on behalf of the good people of Kogi Central and the entire kogi state, sincerely appreciates the new direction government of kogi state, under the guidance and leadership of his Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for matching words with action on the contract award of OSARA Dam at Itakpe to Bilvisico investment limited, an indigenous company for the construction and rehabilitation of the project in  Kogi central.

On Wednesday this week, the 08th of July, 2020, one of the promises the Governor made has become a reality as the State Executive Council approved and awarded the contract for the construction of Osara Dam,itakpe, Adavi in kogi state. This act gladdens the heart of our people and further reassures them that the government of Governor Alhaji Yahaya bello cares for them.He believes in providing portable water networks in urban and remote areas of the state in line with his Blue print agenda which is water for all.

The commissioner further appreciated the deliberate plan of GYB'S government in post COVID-19 season which includes massive road construction,  infrastructural development across the state and offering palaitive bother in cash and kind for the vunerable in the state.

He special thanked the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for seeing him worthy to serve in this capacity and for the approval and contract award of this project becoming a reality.,

Finally, The commissioner also acknowledged and appreciated the synergy and cordiality amongst the state executives exco's,state assembly, The judiciary and the critical Stake holders in State, which has always impacted positively on their pursuits towards making life better for the people of the state.
