100 women, youths receive empowerment farm kits from Kogi Lawmaker

A member of the House of Representatives representing Okene-Ogori Magongo  Federal Constituency in Kogi State, Hon. Ahmed~Tijani Damisa rehabilitate, has distributed farm seeds worth million of naira and the sum of N20,000 each to his constituents.

Presenting the seeds at the Ebira Muslim Community College, Okengwe, Damisa called on private sector, NGOs and other individuals to key into the poverty eradication programme of the present government at the federal level by empowering Nigerians, especially the youths.

Damisa promised that he will continue to give hope to the hopeless, strength to the weak and protection to the defenseless by growing the economy of his federal constituency through creating jobs, securing appointments, constructing rural roads and sinking boreholes.

He said this way, he would generate enduring happiness “for you my people”.

He said people entrusted with leadership must show patriotism, passion, vision and sacrifice for the transformation of the lives of those who voted them into office.

He said: “The presentation of farming  seeds today is also my humble way of campaigning against poverty, increasing empowerment, reducing poverty and improving the living standard of our people, curbing youth restiveness amongst them, because an idle youth is the devil’s workshop.

“We want to return the culture of hard work and dedication among our youths.

Ahmed~Tijani Damisa appreciate Hajia Aisha Ismail Ishaq, provost  FCC, Kaduna, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Federal cooperative  college Kaduna in Collaboration of with Amrah Farm  Nigeria Limited through his domestic  personal assistant in person of Hon. Adams Ibrahim Kadoka.
