Enjoined Them To Be Ambassador Of Peace, Growth And Development Of The State
The Kogi Central Senator Elect, Engr. Abubakar Ohere has congratulated the new elected Kogi State House of Assembly Speaker and other honourable members who were elected under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), on their successful inauguration today.
Engr. Ohere in his statement attributed the APC victory of 22 out of the 25 seats in the Kogi State House of Assembly to the giant strides and purposeful leadership of the ruling administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
According to Engr. Ohere, the APC lawmakers should make themselves good ambassadors of the state.
He said they should be ready to serve the state and also complement the efforts of past lawmakers in ensuring developmental legislation for the state.
He said: “I congratulate all the APC lawmakers elected by the voters of Kogi State to represent them in the House of Assembly. It was a great feat.
”This shows that APC is working in Kogi State and that people are ready to keep enjoying the dividends of democracy that our party has been providing.
“While congratulating the new elected Speaker and other honourable members, I want to urge you all to be ambassadors of peace, growth and development.
”You should ensure that you all serve the state with everything at your disposal and complement the efforts of the executive arm of government in the state.“
