In Okehi Local Government Secretariat today, the Executive Chairman of Okehi Local Government,  Hon. Abdulraheem Ohiare receives on courtesy visit the Central Working Committee for GYB/Ododo who came on a familiarity visit and call for expansive and convincing mobilization for Ododo 2023 Governorship Project.

The Zonal Chairman of the APC, Hon Animoku Mauzu having introduced the members of the group, hailed the Council Boss for his tremendous records in Party Affairs and successes recorded in Okehi Local Government in the previous elections.

Speaking on behalf of the committee, Mauzu amongst others described the Okehi Council Chairman as an asset and an experienced grassroots mobilizer in Kogi State, hence, the visit was considered paramount, to seek his refined cum progressive ideas that shall help steer the entire Okehi LG Wards for a unified and robust rally behind the APC Governorship Candidate,  Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman to a colossal victory in the Nov 11th, 2023, Kogi Gubernatorial Election. 

The Coordinator of the Progressive Group, Hon Muhammed Tinko corroborated the previous Speaker as he also applauded the Council Chairman's efforts towards mobilization for the "Ododo 2023 Project" but not without urging him alongside his Colleagues across Kogi Central to ensure Hon Ododo Ahmed Usman wins massively in Kogi Central.

Alhaji Ahmed Kashim Ododo was all appreciative in his remarks, even as he also appealed for a more robust politicking in the Central Senatorial District, noting that His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello has done his part and it's our turn to complement his efforts by canvassing massively for the success of the Ododo Project that would bring the much needed victory comes November 11th, 2023 Gubernatorial elections in Kogi State.

Other Speakers spoke in agreement with the previous ones as the Council Chairman was being urged to bring all together under a canopy so that the forthcoming elections could be a seamless one.

Reacting to the call made by the leadership of the Committee, Hon. Ohiare acknowledged the mind-blowing description of his person, appreciates the Committee for their relentless efforts in the course of Ododo Governorship Candidature, charging them to keep the fervency up, till the craving destination (Luggard House) is achieved comes Nov. 11 2023 Kogi election. 

Hon Ohiare in earnest, admonished the Committee to deem fit as a matter of fact to encourage all members of the Group and Fora across board to attend APC Ward Meetings immediately it kickstart. "Election starts from the Local and won at the Polling Units, therefore, all hands should be on deck to mobilize massively at the grassroots for the Ododo Project."

Earlier, the Council Boss has recounted Ododo's sterling qualities that stands him tall among others, adding too that his contributions towards Security over the years amongst other things isn't measurable and shall continue to speak for him.

Hon Ohiare finally, assured the Committee of humongous votes in Okehi LGA during the elections based on the reconciliatory and consultative moves made by the APC Leadership led by the Council Chairman recently.

"Okehi LGA today is already 80% settled for APC's Ododo Mandate, and winning more souls from the opposition ahead of the forthcoming Guber elections is a continued course."
