Senator Abubakar Ohere Visits Family of Late Zubair Amoka, Offers Sincere Prayers and Support

Senator Abubakar Ohere has extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Hon. Zubair Amoka, describing his passing as a profound loss to both his loved ones and the wider community.

During the condolence visit, Senator Ohere expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Hon. Zubair Amoka, noting that death is an inevitable decree of Allah which every soul must taste. He urged the family to remain steadfast in faith and to find comfort in the righteous life and legacy left behind by the deceased.

He also delivered messages of condolence on behalf of the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, and the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. According to Senator Ohere, both leaders deeply sympathize with the family of the late Hon. Zubair Amoka and assured them of their unwavering support.

“They extend their heartfelt condolences to the family and want you to know that you are not alone in this moment of grief. They will never turn their backs on you,” the Senator conveyed.

Offering prayers, the Senator said:

“May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, expand his grave, and grant him eternal rest in Al-Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah also comfort the family he left behind and give them the strength and patience to bear this great loss.”

He further prayed:

“O Allah, pardon him, have mercy on him, grant him security, provide him with a noble place in Paradise, and make his grave a garden among the gardens of Jannah. Do not deprive us of his reward and do not put us to trial after him.”

The Senator was accompanied by several dignitaries, including the Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Professor Sanusi Avidime; former Chief of Staff to the Deputy Governor, Hon. Omade; former APC Chairman, Hon. Hadi Ametuo; Special Adviser to Governor Ododo, Hon. Abdulkareem Onyiekehi, among other notable personalities.

Senator Ohere emphasized that the late Zubair Amoka lived a life of impact and service, and encouraged the family to uphold his good values and continue in the path of unity, compassion, and community service.

Responding on behalf of the family, relatives of the deceased expressed their gratitude to Senator Ohere for his visit, kind words, and prayers, noting that his presence brought them comfort during this difficult time.

The visit concluded with a collective prayer for the repose of the soul of the deceased and for Allah’s guidance and protection over the entire family.
